Hostel Manager Threatens To Throw Out Students Belongings Amidst Covid-19 Crises
The manager of Heaven hostel, a private hostel facility at Winneba, has threatened to throw out the belongings of hostellers if they don’t come for it within the shortest possible time.
Most of the hostellers who are students at the University of Education Winneba campus and are in their various homes due to the outbreak of the global pandemic, Covid-19, are shocked to the core by the actions of the hostel manager as they see it as inhumane and uncalled for especially in difficult times like this.
One hosteler who spoke to news2dayonline.com on condition of anonymity said he received a call from the hostel manager on Saturday, 24th of April, asking him to come and pack out of the hostel before the unspeakable happens.
In an audio available to this news portal, the hostel manager was heard lamenting bitterly about the hijacking of his hostel facility by the students without any confirmation as to whether they will be staying there in the next academic year or not.
Efforts to reach the hostel manager for his side of the story as at the time of filing this report proved futile.
