KORLE BU RECORDS 2 SUSPECTED CORONAVIRUS CASES Despite the government putting up measures to prevent the coronavirus from entering the country, it has been reported that two foreigners who have been living in the country for a while now, reported themselves at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital for showing symptoms suspected to coronavirus and it is yet to be confirmed.
This clearly shows that the systems put in place to curb the introduction of this deadly virus into this country is not efficient. Yet, we keep allowing these Chinese nationals to enter our country.
Meanwhile, we have not been able to bring home the Ghanaian citizens in China.
My worst fear is that, the Chinese are coming into the country for mining reasons so they move to the hinterlands where most people have no idea of the virus.
It will be in our best interests if the Government can ban foreigners from China into the country until there is an efficient cure to the virus.
We must find a way to bring back our brothers and sisters in China are who are going through trauma right now
. Most of them are students so I will call on the National Union of Ghanaian Students (NUGS) and other student unions to put pressure on the government to get our brothers and sisters back.
