Shatta Wale says he does not pay tithe in Church but rather to the people on the street. This is because the people from the street helped him get to his current state and if he has any way to show his appreciation to them, he gladly do that through paying his dues to them.
According to the President of the Shatta movement empire, when he play shows and he is being paid, he takes 20% of that money and give it to those on the street for their massive support over the years.
He believes he is not in the position to cater for all the youths on the street but the little he can do for them is to show them his appreciation for their encouragement, support and unflinching love through thick and thin.
“I don’t pay thites in church but I take my thites to those on the streets who has help project my brand to the wolrd and I’m always grateful to them.”
